Steps 1 From any food store, buy wheat berries. In any food mall, you can search for them in the organic food section. Bob's Red Mill is also a online store from where you can buy them. Step 2 Now put one cup of water in a container. Though the wheat berries are in the packet, you must wash them carefully under running water. Step 3 Put the washed wheat berries in the saucepan and place a layer of water over it. The height of the water level must be about two inches. Now let the wheat berries soak the water for a time being of about 6-8 hours. Step 4 Now rinse the wheat berries after soaking. Step 5 Now mix three cups of water to the wheat berries. Also, add a suitable amount of salt to the mixture. Then boil the mixture in the gas oven. The boiling process must be of about 1 hour. After an hour check whether the mixture is chewable or not. If they are chewable then stop the heating process. Step 6 If you want to eat them in the breakfast then add one teaspoon of honey with it along with 1 teaspoon of peanut butter. Step 7 If you want to eat wheat berries in lunch then simply add green onion, a little garlic along with some lentils. Tips & Warnings
